zander205 0 Posted January 7, 2008 i was doing a rear beam swap today on my 309 gti, as i finished i decided to start cleaning up, start the car moved it into the garage turned it off did my cleanign up, now want to take it for a test drive and it won't swing, i can hear the starting motor engaging but nothing, tried turning it at the cam and nothing, tried at the crank same thing, jacked up the car on both sides put the car in first gear all two wheels turn fine, push start the car and it just jams up........ i am lost any help or advice????? zander205 0 Posted January 8, 2008 ok for some strange reason the time belt slipped, belt not damaged so i reset the timing and tried again and nothing it got good compression on all 4 cylinders, can it be the battery?? tried jump starting it wiith moms car and not holding charge long Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
