306 Gti6 Brakes On 205 1.9 Gti

Hi there was wondering if someone could tell me if i need to really swap my m\c on my 205 1.9 gti, im fitting 306 gti6 brakes 283mm discs, with callipers. will my old m\c be ok to use or will it need swaping, if so which should i use, and is it a straight fit, cheers

it will be ok with std one but if you find pedal too long then fit 406 23mm one

Mine has the standard m/c with the 306 gti6 calipers , it has a bit more travel than standard but brakes still work perfectly and havent had any problems. But it isnt much of a job to replace if you prefer the harder pedal!

Same here, standard mc with gti6 brakes. Feels good to me, i wouldn't bother changing the mc.
