Kriss 0 Posted January 5, 2008 So i've bought my old 1.4 205 back and was wondering, how easy will the gti dash go in and to wire up??? The main thig that is concerning me is the rpm counter, as mmy car doesnt have one. How would i go about wiring that up?? Any info would of great help. DaveW 6 Posted January 6, 2008 You need the dial dash loom from a xs or a gti it all plugs stright into the fuse box, but try to get the right phase loom as some of the wires dont quite match up! but its sortable. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Goliath 94 Posted January 6, 2008 My 1.1 GL has a GTI dash in it, unfortunately I didnt put it in so I dont know how easy it is. However, out of the small dials, only the fuel guage is connected to work as a dial wheras the other dials needles dont move but the warning lights will come on if for example the engine temp gets too high. the speedo and rev counter all work fine though! fencer 0 Posted January 8, 2008 I did this on my 0.900 GE. All I had to do was change the loom and the instrumentation panel. Everything worked except for the oil pressure/temp and the water temp guage. Rev couter works! ;D Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
