pee vee 1 Posted January 4, 2008 (edited) all of a sudden the other day, after the car got up to full temp. when coming to idle, and up to about 2k rpm, there is a horrible squeel Almost like someone blowing a whistle, coming from my engine!!! as soon as you load the engine to pull away, it dissapears. until you are just crusiing along.. my initial thought was a leak around the inlet manifold gasket, but thought i'd try spraying some WD40 round it to see if anyhting was obvious.. but it made no difference.. Do fuel pressure regulators squeel if they have gone wrong!? as thats where it seems to be coming from. lol is the 1900 8v one the same pressure setting as the Mi16 one??? as i have a spare one if so.. thanks! Phil EDIT: its not the belt slipping! noise isnt coming from that area! Edited January 4, 2008 by pee vee
