MrG 3 Posted December 30, 2007 I am looking at an early D reg 1.9, it starts fine & idles but revs start to drop after about 2 mins or so and if you touch the throttle it dies, restarts ok and when it starts to warm its fine. Normski 1 Posted December 30, 2007 The cold starting could be related to a problem with your SAD valve, or maybe a coolant temp sensor (for the ECU). Do a search for that and see if any thing similar comes up, it must have. The oil pressure and temp gauges have separate senders. Temp is next to the sump plug, and pressure is under the inlet manifold. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
