309PUG 2 1 Cars Posted December 30, 2007 (edited) Looking from the front of the car which way does the drap door flap open on XU10 sumps ?? is it towards the flywheel or crank pulley end ?? Stu 18 Posted December 30, 2007 As above, mine opens towards the cambelt end, i think the idea is that between the door and pump baffle the majority of the oil is kept in the centre part of the sump and hence near the pickup. Dont forget that if you keep the ally spacer/stiffener (if its a 1900 or Mi) the pickup will need to be extended. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
