Road Rally Set-up

I want to improve the feeling of the rear of my road rally 205, just wondering what you lot use or recommend?

fat ARB's, PTS dampers (i.e Bilstein Sprintline/B6), and Group A type beam mounts :) further than that its uprated torsion bars.

How fat an ARB for rallying is what I'm not to sure of.

 

Over bumps if it's to fat it could cause problems with the other wheel losing grip?

 

Personally I've got group A mounts, 20mm TB's, Bilstein challenge spec shocks and at the moment a 25mm and 19mm ARB but I'm not sure if I should run soemthing inbetween this. 22?

Start off with the Damper's, The Bilstein Gp 'N' ones are ideal for this, As for Torsion bar's and Anti Roll bar it's down to personal taste really so the ARB is a easy place to start at but not really needed as speeds are never that high (I guess), The 20 or 21mm Torsion bar's would be a good upgrade

Average Speed: method of disguising excessively high speeds using a mathematical formula. Average Speed is defined as distance covered divided by time, all multiplied by the variable, k. When talking to the MSA, local residents and the police, k is assumed to equal 1. However, during the course of a Road Rally,k has been known to increase alarmingly.

You'd be suprised how fast they can end up. :)

Road rallying is not so bad but I would still watch ARB sizes, they're a compromise and always will be.

 

Average speeds for our events are limited to 40 and 60mph respectively, bah!
