RossD 44 Posted December 20, 2007 my brother put an idea too me, seeing as i have a 106 xsi for breaking could i use the managment instead of 205 xs dizzy setup? just for the spark not the fueling as i have carbs. thanks and Merry Christmas! I expect the advance curve will be all wrong for the XS engine, the XSi has bigger valves, different valve timing, higher compression all of which mean a completely different advance curve. You would also have to use an XSi flywheel unless you could rig up a crank trigger some other way? Its probably more work than the end result is worth! welshpug 1,655 Posted December 22, 2007 same/similar to an Mi wiring conversion I'd imagine. engine bolts straight in and use 205 driveshafts if I'm not mistaken.
