justinv 4 1 Cars Posted December 11, 2007 thinking of rebuilding an 8v engine for my 205, basically i have a standard 1.9 8v 405 gtx engine and thinking of rebuilding it for my 205 1.6 as the current engine is slowly dying. Thinking of putting a set of bodies on it and also some programmable injection, anyone know what is best to go for ? Injection system I maybe go for a megasquirt one. regards justin
Batfink 201 Posted December 11, 2007 The Jenvey setup is ok and is often rebranded by other companies (DTA / luminition etc) , but I personally think the off the shelf longmans inlet manifold that comes with it is not the best. Speak to Sandy (Sandy309) or Colin (Eeyore) about a custom setup as they have made a few custom ones which seem to give far better midrange torque...
