Pob 1 Posted December 8, 2007 Hi all, When cold i.e in the mornings and I Start it up it runs lumpy and stalls if I don't give it a bit of throttle. I have to hold the throttle for about 30seconds and you can hear it clear and it idles fine. Any ideas? Thanks, Dan
simonb 0 Posted December 9, 2007 Normal as far as 205 GTi's go. Probably just condensation/damp collecting in the cylinders for the first 30 seconds or so. Mine does the same. Sounds like it fires on 3 for the first 10 seconds, but doesn't stall. I have never seen a GTi start on the button from cold without a lumpy idle - So you are not alone.
