Crazy-legs!

Another thing you're going to need Ronnie, is some high-tensile M7 bolts for the cluthch cover plate. As the S16 flywheel uses a different size bolt to the 205 flywheel. (I found this out when trying to fit the clutch on my GTI6 flywheel!)

hope this helps,

Marc.

Crazy-legs!

From memory i belive its six you need. i cant remember the length off the top of my head, but i just brought some from a motor-factors and cut them down to size. Make sure they are the correct tensile strength though, i think i used 8.8.

Marc.

I wouldnt say £7.50 plus postage for 25 bolts was too bad! http://www.ecas2cvparts.co.uk/find.asp? :)

Yes it's 6 you need and they^ didnt need cutting :D Just type M7 into the search on that site , page 2 of results, Set screw, plated, 11mm hex head, M7 x 20mm.

Valeo manufacture original equipment Peugeot clutches so u'r main dealer can get you one.. .. or go to u'r local motor factors to get the same clutch for half the price :(

Hi-flow heads can supply Helix clutches

Sonosam used the bottom pulley, altenator ;) & belt and 205 starter motor. :D Iirc. <_< You have tou modify the belt tenoner to get it to fit. If you do a search, there are loads of topics from both turbo coversions and gti-6 conversions on here.

ronnie i have a complete mount as pictured in Rob Turbo's pic above, not sure if its the one your after. I got it in error as i actually needed a mi16 top mount and not that one as i have an XM engine not 406. I've got both the bit that bolts to the block and the top mount

PM me if its of any use

ecu unlock

Hi Guys!

Maybe it's a silly question. Why the ecu have to be unlocked?

Thanx,

Jamal

What do you mean by that?

Have to kill the immo, or what should I have to do?

Yes, the ECU will be locked by it's immobiliser, so the engine will not run.

Usuall route is to either send the ECU away to be unlocked, or buying one thats been unlocked.

Do you still have the Donor car/keypad/code/transponder etc? as it can be unlocked if you have a combination of those things<

Oh this is the only problem?

I have a doc that desrcibes the method how to unlock it. Something to do with one of the ECU's pin and a +12V, and my friend succesfully unlocked his engine.

I've tought that would be a bigger problem.

Now I know, that my last post was stupid. Wiring is not enought.

I have got the keypad and the code too, but I want to leave it out.
