lee-bg 0 Posted December 5, 2007 Hi folks, I did some search but i cant quite understand, because of my poor English I bought new TPS today and i am interested for info about fitting it. It does make a "click" when at the most (lets say) right turn of the rotation. So when i fit it to my Intake should it make a click then i lock the bolts or it shouldnt ? I will be very thankful if you can give me proper instruction how to fit and tighten the screws when i fit it. Thank you very much. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
welshpug 1,666 Posted December 5, 2007 fit the TPS loosely, then turn it so that its just clicks off with the throttle at rest. thats if it is a Switch and not a potentiometer (potentiometers dont click), which Management system is it? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lee-bg 0 Posted December 6, 2007 Thanks for info man. Yes, its a switch. Its Mi16 - 1,9 16V Motronic 1.3 engine. I will play on the weekend. This is the last sensor i have to fit - brand new.
