What valve spring compressor is reccomended for the 1.6GTi engine?

 

And how much does the engine way without box, what engine stand is reccomended?

this is a 'deep' valve spring compressor, ideal for the 8v head.

Looks fine.

 

Don't buy a cheapo from ebay as they are useless, not deep (even though it states they are) and will almost certainly fall to bits halfway through!

Get the best you can afford.

The engine doesn't weight more than about 100kg, so even the smallest stand will handle it no problem.

I used their bog standard valve compressor (£15ish) just last week and was able to get the valves out with no problems...
