welshpug 1,657 Posted December 1, 2007 what kind of diagnostic systems do the gti6 run? as far as I know all 6's run the same Magneti ecu, but are they all the same Diagnostic connector? or do earlier cars use a 2 pin plug like the S16 and most earlier systems? just figuring how to wire up the Diagnostic functions in my ZX as it has a gti6 egnine and loom in it, but I'm having running issues and the lack of a diagnostic facility is making it quite difficult to pinpoint the fault. welshpug 1,657 Posted December 2, 2007 found how to do it! when wiring up as per earlier systems they are as follows. wire 141 from ecu pin 12 is pin 1 of the diag plug wire 140 from ecu plug 31 is pin 2 of the diag plug. to wire up as OBDII style plug; wire 426 from ecu pin 42 is pin 3 of the diag plug wire 141 from ecu pin 12 is pin 15 of the diag plug wire 140 from ecu plug 31 is pin 7 of the diag plug Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
