Richie-Van-GTi 71 2 Cars Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) Im trying to relate a load of sensor wires from a 406 loom into some sort of order for splicing. Has anyone a schematic covering the 406 sensor loom that can either scan it and send me it or be really nice and find the following wires and tell me what is what Im doing a turbo loom but trying to keep the loom as in tact as possible. Ive listed every wire including the ones I know so its here for future reference for people 821 - keypad 8043 - Aircon ecu to engine ecu 8044 - Aircon ecu to engine ecu 822 - keypad 426 - malfunction light 1360 - diagnostic 820 - keypad 1621 - VSS module 1232 - purge canister 8068 - aircon compressor to aircon ecu BF5 - +12v 140 - diagnostic 1622 - VSS CC10 - switched 12v 122 - fuse 9 123 - from fuse 9 to lambda 141 - diagnostic BB20 - +12v 480 - electric speedo BB10 - +12v 120A - Fuel pump N44 - earth 415 - 8081 - 414 - 1228 - 1368 - 808 - 412 - 1072 - 400 - 410 - C12 - 220 - 401 - 108 - If anyone can copy and paste with the red ones completed that would be great Edited November 30, 2007 by Richie-Van-GTi
Richie-Van-GTi 71 2 Cars Posted December 1, 2007 OK, bought a haynes and I now have all the following completed, hopefully it will help someone in the future. I have 2 wires Im unsure of, if anyone can clarify them it would be great. 821 - keypad 8043 - Aircon ecu to engine ecu 8044 - Aircon ecu to engine ecu 822 - keypad 426 - malfunction light 1360 - diagnostic 820 - keypad 1621 - VSS module 1232 - purge canister 8068 - aircon compressor to aircon ecu BF5 - +12v 140 - diagnostic 1622 - VSS CC10 - switched 12v 122 - fuse 9 123 - from fuse 9 to lambda 141 - diagnostic BB20 - +12v 480 - electric speedo BB10 - +12v 120A - Fuel pump N44 - earth 415 - oil level 8081 - bitron 414 - oil level 808 - bitron 412 - oil temp sender 1072 - alternator 400 - stop warning light 410 - oil switch C12 - reverse switch 220 - reverse switch 401 - coolant guage 108 - starter solenoid 1228 - live feed from pin 6 of relay? 1368 - comes from ecu, possibly tacho? The ecu wire comes from the 6th pin from the left of the middle row looking into the connector with the long row at the top. The live feed from the relay could be on other pins apart from 6 as they are bridged between a few different pins, I cant think what would have a live feed going back into the cabin from the relay?? I should state at this time the loom isnt in the car and proven to be correct but everything up here has been checked with a haynes, autodata and also doing continuity checks between plugs and wire ends. welshpug 1,657 Posted December 1, 2007 do the wire numbers cross over to a 306? or is that too sensible?
Richie-Van-GTi 71 2 Cars Posted December 1, 2007 sadly not, I found a few discrepancies
