Why Does My Heater Fan Not Run On Full Speed.

When i turn on my heater fan to run on full i cannot get the knob round to the full speed mark.

it feels like there is a restriction when turning the knob which is at its most when getting the knob round towards the full speed mark, and the knob springs back so far.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

i have taken apart the dash but i cannot get to the rear of the heater panel, plus the bowden cable controling the knob in question runs at the bottom of the panel and looks obstruction free.

all ideas greatfuly received.

sorry to say this mate but i think you must dismount heater matrix because bovden cable sleep trough and block the gap(this is problem in my case)

hello, i had this problem but with mine the cable at the back of the heater knob had somehow bent out of shape and restricted the movement, simply straightened the cable and fixed it.
