Guest Alfaguy Posted November 23, 2007 I have recently bought a 1990 1.6 and there is some slight bubbling around the base of the rear hatch. My question is as the rear screen is bonded in place would it be more economical to simply buy another hatch or get my present one repaired. The rust bubbling is only slight but of course I won't know for sure until the screen is removed.
jackherer 543 Posted November 23, 2007 You mean the base of the screen? If its a common colour a bootlid off a breaker is the best bet but some colours (red in particular) fade in some odd ways so another cars paint is unlikely to match even if they were once the same.
