Ignition Leads

I currently have a Bosch coilpack and custom Magnecor leads, that I believe were from a Calibra 16v and had the ends modified to fit - they belonged to JonMurgie previously.

 

I was changing plugs yesterday morning and managed to damage a lead (read all about it )

 

Had it fixed as best as could be done, but its still missing badly on full load - it worked fine Sunday, and had new plugs yesterday morning so it must just be a dodgy lead.

 

Not sure what the coilpack is, just a std Bosch type but I need some new HT leads that will reach the coilpack near the battery.

 

Anyone know of any long leads with an Mi fitment plug end, and a Bosch coilpack fitment coil end?

Corsa 16v leads are what I used with the same coilpack and a GTi-6 engine (which has similar style/depth plug leads to Mi16's)

How bizarre - just took the Pug out to get some new plugs and leads, and went for a ncie big spin to test it out and its working fine now.

 

Only thing I've done is recrimp the connectors for the coilpack as the old ones were looking a bit tired - seems to have done the trick for now

 

Found the Corsa leads for future reference and they are spot on - have completely the same end cap as the Mi16 that goes onto the plugs, cheers Anthony.

which model corsa are these from?

I just looked in Halfords for the Corsa 16v, think they are also for Astra etc.

 

They are the same as the Mi leads but longer
