Tyres For Winter Weather...

Recommended Posts

Right I've searched for a few hours now, and I cant come to a conclusion as yet as some of the tyres I'm thinking of getting aren't mentioned at all!

basically I need 4 new tyres, which are good in the wet (i.e for britain!) from the searches this rules out Falkens, as the 452 isnt available in 15", only the 512, which Miles hates!

Yoko's arent that good as a wet tyre I've read, but the A539 isnt listed in 195 55, only the C drive.

Toyo's are said to be a bit hard?

no mention at all of Avons, ZV3 I like the look of.

again Kumho's, I like the look of the Ecsta?

Bridgestone Re010?

go on then guys knock yerselves out with yer recommendations and experiences

Cut slicks ??

I find that any 'soft' tyres with a decent water shifting tread patern to be good in the wet.

I would not say Toyo's are too hard. Eagle F1's seem good in the wet. There is also a Hydro version. If these are primarily for the winter then I would get some Colway remoulds in a good aggressive pattern so you can munch up the snow :D
