I know this has prob. been asked before but I need new front / rear bumpers as the originals got damaged taking them off.

Is it worth the extra getting original dealer supplied bumpers or will I get a good fit and finish using pattern jobbies from say neat autos. Any info from you if you have any experience will be great.Cheers..

i recently bought a rear bumper from 'autofive', but had to elongate the holes for the corner mounts.

only reason i bought from 'autofive' was that it was £40 cheaper than main dealer.

personally, if i had to buy again. i'd buy genuine peugeot. £78 for the rear, and £111 for the front

I say this time and time again, but just pick up the phone and call Neat Autos. Their website is a bit gash, but they are decent guys and know their stuff.

Their parts are supposed to be all OE in Pug packaging, but you will find out for sure if you give them a tinkle. Rather them than Autofive any day!

I've got a spare set of bumpers and valances sat in my cupboard taking up room... you're more than welcome to them. I picked them up from a guy in Birmingham last winter and haven't got round to doing anything with them. I originally bought them to stick on a 954cc 205 to make it look like a GTi rally car for the Mongol rally this past year, but it all kinda fell through.

They are lacking the red strip, but apart from that they seem to be in good-ish nick. If you're interested in them, PM me and I'll try to get some photos to you.

Cheers,

Jim
