Pob 1 Posted November 11, 2007 Hi The gear change on my 88 205 is really notchy, Side to side movement in the gear stick is the worst and engaging 3rd is sometimes troublesome. It doesn't grind on gear change, I have re-adjusted the clutch cable and replaced the gearbox oil. The Clutch is pretty worn, I'm replacing it tomorrow, but I know it won't fix the sideways movement in the gearstick. Its better when warm, but not brilliant. Any suggestions?
