Emmy Seize 8 Posted November 7, 2007 As I´m planning to do a Prins VSI conversion on one of my GTI6, I shopped around a bit and and got a few very helpful answers. Basically what you get with this VSI kit isa mappable ECU for running on LPG. This ECU should be fine with minor mechanical modifications as is it triggered by the main ECU anyway. So assuming you got the basemap for running on petrol right, the rest should follow. A guy in a workshop in our neighbourhood kindly let me watch the setup procedure for an LPG ECU and even with my very basic knowledge, this didn´t look too difficult. The key thing he pointed out to me was that it was absolutely substancial to have the oxygen sensor running acurately. For a four cylinder engine with up to 200 ps, prices for complete installations go down to as little as 1600,00 Euros in our area.
