e30m3 0 Posted November 5, 2007 Can anyone one tell be what sort of effect / advantage solid beam mounts give to the handeling on track. At the moment it feels like there some sort of play in the rear suspension, could this be the original rubber mounts not being up to the job?
Batfink 201 Posted November 5, 2007 they could even be broken so are worth checking. For a track car I think solid would be great. It will make it a little more predictable.
dirtdog 4 Posted November 5, 2007 how about for road use? i guess it depends on how i adjust the rear (gaz)dampers really???
swordfish210 20 Posted November 5, 2007 i'v got BBM Grp A mounts on my rear beam and they are great for road and track. They make the car feel more stable and more predictable in lift-off oversteer. As for road use i really didnt notice and difference in ride quality
