306 Xsi 2.0 Head On A 1.6

hi, im thinking about putting a 306 xsi 2.0 8v head on my standard 205 cti 1.6 bottom end, im sure iv seen topics on it before but cant find it now (plus i dont know the engine code), i also would like to put r1 carbs on it and a different cam.

 

is it all possible?

what cam should i use?
