Normski 1 Posted November 1, 2007 To let out moist air / let in fresh air. When it rains some water gets past the window seal and it collects inside the bottom of the door. There is an outlet at the bottom corner, but some dampness will still be there, hence the vent. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
