Zx Trailing Arms

It is weird (looking at the link above) how the ZX has 0 toe at the back. I know it was the first to use the zx/306/xsara chassis and I wonder if they changed it over time. I know from owning a ZX 16v it had outrageous lift off oversteer, even with a mild lift, however it was lovely and controllable (we wont mention the time it bit me at Goodwood which was due to rumble strip lol). I have a funny magazine review somewhere at home which went on about it but then I recall an Autocar test of the Xsara VTS also saying the same thing :)

Trust me, the "family wagon" ZX break we have does that to at liftoff, but it´s consequent and very predictable in comparishon to my 309, not to mention the 205

As far as I'm aware, I can claim the credit for bringing the ZX arms to the attention of this forum (dusting off my trumpet ). The ZX drum axle ones I used on my old Goodwood were zero toe or damn near, Anthony now has them afaik. We recently used some ZX volcane disc arms on a 306 and they turned out to have about 5mm toe, like the 306 arms, so they had to be modified. Get a complete axle and put toe gauges or measure with a friend and sticks/string to be sure. It appears they don't all follow the data I posted originally.
