Pts 285 Stats

ive got a peugot talbot sport 285 cam and i need to know bout lift and every thing so i can set my pully right, so if any one can post up a link or post the stats up for me or even tell me what to set the pully to id be gratfull :ph34r:

If a PTS 285 is exactly the same as a Piper 285 then the stats are as follows:

 

 

Inlet lift 0.462"

Exhaust lift - 0.460"

Seat Duration - 284 on both lobes

LCA - 106

ive been told to set it to 106 deg but i dont know if that is advanced or retarded

Set it to equal lift @TDC on inlet and exhaust as a starting point then advance it on a RR to find the optimum position

cant get it on a RR till december. this is to just get it running better till i can get it in a boggs. i only getting 40miles to £10 of fuel so i need it putting the best i can

I assume petert mean't set it to full lift at 106' after true tdc.
