petert 607 Posted October 28, 2007 Being a solid lifter arrangement, you can do quite a lot with the 1.9L cam in terms of regrinding. Material can be removed from the base circle, which increases the overall material available. However, you'll need thicker shims. You aslo need to be careful that you machine down the diameter of the thrust plate location, to less than the new base circle. Otherwise #4 cyl. exhaust valve will be permanently open.
