Standard Cams

hi all

 

I now have a selection of standard cams which i would liek to see but i am unsure whether they are 1600 or 1900, if there a way of telling the difference?!

The earlier 1600 cams were chamfered on the edges whereas the 1900 cam isn't, this is up to 1990 after this they werent so will look very similar to the 1900 item, only real way to tell is to measure them.

sorry bein thick, what u mean chamfered?

 

whats measurements would you look for?!

chamfered means that the edges have a bit cut of the edges of the loads that is at an angle.

 

sorry to hijack thread but i was wondering if a different cam from another engine would fit a 2.0l turbo engine?
