Fuel Injector O-rings

Recommended Posts

Ethos

Hi guys,

Yes another topic sorry!

There seems to be an air leak from one... just wondering where I could get some? What size are they etc... (205 gti 1.6 1992)

Hopefully this will help the idle and maybe even give some bhp back!

Thanks

Yea, pretty sure. When I sprayed some carb cleaner around the whole the revs dropped loads

Ordered some today, £11 all in for 4. Bit more than expected but still all good.

I went to my local bosch dealer and got them from there, a hell of a lot cheaper than pug if I remember correctly. Im afraid I cant remember part numbers buit if youve got the injector numbers they should be able to find suitable washers for you.

I probably could get them cheaper but at least this way I know i'll be getting the right ones.

Got a sump plug from my local parts dealer and he gave me the wrong one

£11 is expensive for what it is but it's probably only £5-6 more than somewhere else and I def know they will be the right ones.

If you get injectors cleaned (£12 each) then you get all the seals and rubbers replaced as part of the price...

Thanks mate, £48 is alot more than £11-12 though and trying to keep the price down on everything as much as possible

Out of interest are the "injector" cleaners you can get anygood, the ones you put in with your petrol?

I've only tried the in the fuel stuff once on a petrol and once on a diesel. Both times they were a waste of time. Cleaned injecotrs gave a bit more power top end on both the 1.9s I've had it done on but it isn't a dramatic change.
