Headling 0 Posted October 22, 2007 hi Guys, i have put in an ali tank in the boot of my 1.9 and run fuel lines inside the car and I am looking for a fuel pump? I looked at the 205 one but this is in tank, is there any other type of pump i can use? I am looking to mount the pump in the boot next to the tank. im on a bit of a budget so any pumps i can get from the scrap yard would be good! oh yeah i am using a 2.0 8v turbo in it. Ryan 99 Posted October 22, 2007 405s have external pumps I believe. If not then I'm pretty sure the Sierra and possibly some bigger vauxhalls do.
cybernck 403 1 Cars Posted October 22, 2007 yep, 405/BX have an external pump which is ok to use. the pump is the same across the fuel-injected range, even on the T16!

craig f90 0 Posted October 22, 2007 2.0 16v Astras and caviliers have the pump located in front of the drivers side rear wheel. Hope that helps.
