fore_heed 0 Posted October 21, 2007 I'm looking to get a new exhaust manifold as my current one is shagged and i'm wondering what kind/type would be the best. I've been looking on autofive, would i be best goin with a standard original manifold, a later type manifold or a stainless manifold? Does the later type manifold need the downpipe too? I'm not too bothered with power gains, and I don't want to spend mega money, I'll be happy if it fits and works! lol Cheers, Pete
pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted October 23, 2007 If you don't want to spend mega money, just get a standard exhaust manifold. At least that way you won't have hassle getting your exhaust to fit. IMO any manifold you get (if its brand new) will be the later stronger design oe manifold anyway, I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't. If you buy a stainless or aftermarket one thats a four branch design, it does away with the downpipe but any standard Peugeot manifold will need the downpipe still. Graham.
