Both Electric Windows Have Stopped Working

as per title really

 

Typically the window decided to stop working whilst in the down position (drivers side) Also the passenger window will not work from either the drivers side switch or passenger side. I'm guessing it will be the control point under the dash, is there a foolproof way of testing this or any other common point for both sides?

If both have stopped working then it's probably the relay in the fusebox, or the fuse itself. Fuse #9 iirc.
