Guest jeni Posted October 16, 2007 Hey Sorry if this has been anwered before but I couldnt search as its not working. Had a quick look but couldnt see any thing. Also sorry if its inthe wrong place. What Oil (grade) do people recommend for a 1.9 GTI engine that has around 116k on the clock. Mine seems to be drinking the stuff at the minute and I wondered if it was something to do with the fact that the oil I have been using is more designed for modern engines. Had a real struggle trying to find one that is for older, high milage cars. Esso used to do one but they dont seem to sell it any more. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
