Bottom End Rumble When Cold

Recommended Posts

Pugnut

its just passed 90k and its a very strong engine , i'm not really arsed with doing a full bottom end rebuild but when starting the engine from cold i get the inklings of a bottom end rumble for the first 20 seconds or so . is it worthwhile dropping the sump and putting in a new set of big end bearings or if i'm in there should i be doing the mains also ? if i need to do the mains also i dont think i'll bother at all and just keep it going .

the oil pressure, temp all seems great and it drives pretty well. what do you ppl think?
