M_R_205 5 1 Cars Posted October 12, 2007 (edited) i got my carbs fitteed about 3 months ago now had them on the rollers at the bogg brothers and all was good, however lately the car is running increasingly lumpy and when i let off the throttle to slow down, 9 times out of 10 it trys to cut out unless a bit of heel toe is used, now my first thought was, hmm, maybe its overfueling, flooding when the throttle was closed, so i fitted a new presure regulator and set it to 3.5 psi, still happening but now also lost a litle high rev poke, underfueling?? any ideas?? i realy need it sorted as im going to start trying to sell my car at the end of the month and i dont wana sell some poor guy a duck egg he cant drive!! cheers!! M_R_205 5 1 Cars Posted October 12, 2007 (edited) How is your idle when stationary? Have you checked what colour your spark plugs are? Are you using a dizzy for the spark? idle is usualy quite high and lumpy, when i adjust it down it wont start from cold (no choke) plugs are a dark grey slightly black and yes a normal dizzy, plugs leads cap and arm were new about 4-6 months ago Edited October 12, 2007 by M_R_205
