So heres the problem, im just re-assembling the Mi head and have found a single bent inlet (number 6 from the box end) and wondered how you could bend one valve? i havent drove the car as i bought it with the headgasket gone, but i compression tested it and it gave good figures, even on a cold engine. What do we think? also, the guide looks to have moved downwards into the chamber by about 2mm, now i know the guide has no effect on the valve projection into the bore, but could the two be linked? if i was to get hold of another valve and lap it in would it be ok?
