Atari Boy 11 Posted September 20, 2007 I will start refurbishing a 1.9 beam to put on my 1.6 shortly and I am just trying to get my head around everything. The question I have is about solid mounting kits; do I need or want one? Everyone says how they improve turn in and I love the way my 205 handles but lets not forget that little issue of lift off over steer, which is great fun when you want it but still can bite back when you dont. Will I loose some of the predictability that I currently have? I use my car as a weekend toy and although it is becoming more and more track day biased, which is what I bought if for.
