Rippthrough 98 Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) 10mm wheel spacer for fitting mi16 15" alloys can some one explain to me why people get wheel wobble? Because there's no 10mm hubcentric spacers available off the shelf, so you lose the centring ring and the wheel doesn't go on quite square. Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted September 18, 2007 I run them fine, but the problem may come if you use standard Peugeot flat faced bolts. I use 60 degree taper ones on my wheels (designed for that though) and they are fine
clifton 0 Posted September 18, 2007 henry where did you get your tapered bolts from cause i need some for my superleggeras?
Henry Yorke 269 3 Cars Posted September 18, 2007 henry where did you get your tapered bolts from cause i need some for my superleggeras? Anywhere!! They are much more common than flat faced bolts. I would get some from your local Ripspeed / Halfords place as they have buckets full. I used a stud conversion kit with wheel studs and open ended nuts. If you are running OZ wheels, they may be Ford offset with a spacer so you need really long bolts with a 60 degree taper

5150maxie 0 Posted September 19, 2007 why do you need 60 degree taper bolts? is it just for after market alloys?
Rippthrough 98 Posted September 19, 2007 why do you need 60 degree taper bolts? is it just for after market alloys? They pull the wheel central as you torque them up, not always perfectly, but usually close enough, you can only use them with alloys with the correct seat though.
