Driving Lamps Need To Work For An Mot?

Recommended Posts

Do the driving lamps, sometimes confused as fog lights, need to work to pass an MOT?

I ask as one of the yellow connectors where the lamp connector joins to the main car electrics is loose so the drivers side lamp doesn't always work and its mot time this week ^_^

can i just take the bulbs out of both that way neither will work and pass the mot? a short term fix until i get around to fixing them

They are not part of the MOT. ^_^

The car will fail if only one works though. Basically all or nothing...disconnect the working side or better still, just remake the dodgy connection and job done, end of.
