timb1046 1 Posted September 16, 2007 i have a loud knocking noise coming from the drivers side wheel. i have just sorted the bushes on that side as they were knackered. i have a feeling the engine mount next to the wishbone maywell be gone as the rubber looks mashed to feck. is this an easy part to replace? is it worth replacing with a solid mount? im fed up with bushes going. could it be the wheel bearing? at first i thought the knocking was somthing stuck in the tyre but there was nothing there, and the car tugs to the right in little tugs along with each knock. any suggestions? joey 0 Posted September 16, 2007 Ya quiet possibly the wheel bearing.. Jack up the front of the car and turn the wheel, and try and move the wheel from side to side. See iff you can hear the bearing makin rough noises Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
