Wires Not Connected?

Recommended Posts

Guest stephen406

Hi All

I have just bought a mi16 converted pug 205 and i am trying to

tidy up the wiring.

One prob i have found is there is a sensor pluging into the exhaust the

wiring from the sensor is not conected to the wiring of the car. There is a plug close

by but it looks to be a different connection and does not reach.

The engine is from a BX and as far as i know so is the loom???

Thanks in advance for any help...

Cheers Stephen

It sounds like someone has used a downpipe from a different car & made it fit yours.

The BX 16v never came with a Lambda sensor afaik so your loom won't have a plug to fit it.

Yes, you can either leave the lambda sensor fittted or get a bolt the rigth thread, block the hole off & forget about it.
