SamGTi 0 Posted September 14, 2007 My dying engine has a worsening oil leak and I can't quite see where it's coming from. Oil drips down the sump from where the oil cooler pipes enter the block. Will this be where the leak is coming from (is it common) or will it be coming from somewhere further up the engine? And if itis the oil cooler pipes (the metal ones), how do they come off and is there a seal or gasket that I can replace to stop it?
Bonzai 2 Posted September 14, 2007 mine was due to the pressure sender working its way loose, its the big mushroom sensor on the front of the block. you might have more luck getting to it from underneath to check it
