justinv 4 1 Cars Posted September 11, 2007 as maybe someone has seen my last posts quite a long time now i hav no time to rebuilt the 8V engine and tought of going to an Mi....., as I have found a rebuilt one with a quiafe box. Since i am not to much into MI's I would like some help maybe on the main points I should look for maybe some rare to find ancilleries or maybe other things on the engine. Also I would like to know if I can use the 8v mounts on the Mi I know these have been covered sometime but dont really have the time to find so maybe with a little help which I will definately find from here, maybe I could proceed. chrisj21 2 Posted September 13, 2007 the 8v mounts will fit to the mi engine as its only the head that is different from the 8v, as far as parts and ancilleries go,they are all still saucable from either ebay or on here, although the earlier alloy block mi's are becoming rarer.there are also some suppliers who would be able to get you the pars.
