djinuk 2 Posted September 3, 2007 I am having problems with my starter motor on my 1.9 205 gti. It takes several turns of the key before it fires up although i can hear the solenoid clicking into place. The starter motor is new Ive cleaned the earth from battery to gearbox, Ive cleaned up the brown multi plug. is there a chance it could be the earth on the actual starter that needs cleaning up.
