brianthemagical 1 Posted September 3, 2007 as, above,i'm after a new track rod for the n/s of a p/s rack, with the boot on the ball joint and i can't fine one, i've tried gsf, ecp, pugparts who gave me one without the boot and i don't want to risk pug as the parts bloke isn't sure if it has the boot. any ideas where i can get the track rod or just the boot? thanks. brianthemagical 1 Posted September 3, 2007 (edited) it's for the track rod, not the rod end. the tre boots don't fit and the boot thats on my car is bonded to a metal ring on the socket side of the joint. thanks. Ignore my earlier post! no worries, thanks for the help. i'v got the gaiters for the rack, i ordered p/s ones and one is shorter than the other so i think they are p/s ones. thanks again for the help. Mikey S 29 1 Cars Posted September 6, 2007 if its the one im thinking of, its butt up to the pas ram, its a little boot thats on the end of the inner track rod, yes?. just pop down the scrappy. 306's with pas have them, the same with 405's. im pretty sure there all the same.
