Guest rich205 Posted August 30, 2007 Hi, Just need a little help identifying a couple of parts. There are 2 sensors just above the oil filter on my 1988 1.9 gti. Now I'm guessing that one is oil pressure and the other is oil temperature, but it would be helpfull if anyone could confirm which is which (or if they're something completely different!) Anthony 1,003 Posted August 30, 2007 The smaller of the two is the oil presssure warning light switch, and the larger mushroom shaped one is the oil pressure gauge. As above, the oil temperature sensor is in the back of the sump. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
