reg 0 Posted August 27, 2007 (edited) Took my supplementary air device out a few times now and i've given it a good clean. Although when i test it, it seems to be opening and closing ok, i'm still haing problems. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement apart from without going directly to Peugeot? I want to get a direct replacement, i know there has been some talk on here about using a SAD from a FORD, which was is a great idea but i would rather use something that i can connect strait to the ecu wiring. I didn't really want to get a second hand. I guess it might be the ecu temp sensor, not quite sure where it is or how to test it though. Apprently its a blue something near the SAD, not sure? Does anyone know if the Golf SAD work the same way as the Peugeots? When the sad is open the car revs up to 2000 when cold and 1500 when a bit warmer. But if i accellerate to over 4000 revs the car stutters. This only happens when the sad is open. Some times the sad doesn't open when the cars cold and the car idels just under 1000, and when i accellerate over 4000 revs and the sad is not open its extremely smooth, as it should be.
