yeti-dj 7 Posted August 26, 2007 hello people, this is a bit of a long shot but i have a very old Clifford Concept 50x alarm in my car and the siren has died, its not the battery back up as the siren makes no noise at all even when set off. Does anone know where i can get the 50 x siren from, or any other siren that works with this alarm, or have a siren lying about that you would like to sell me??? cheers for any help as not looking forward to removing this system at all especially as its fine and just the siren thats died....... cheer again.. yeti-dj 7 Posted September 9, 2007 hello, ye bought one of those already and its great apart from it doenst work with the Concept 50x system, something to do with the way the 50x triggers the siren. It has a constant low ground that switchs to a high ground when triggered, or something like that i believe. Was gonna try and hook this up to the system by using on of the other triggers that you can add but not sure if this will work or not.
