Hilgie 16 2 Cars Posted August 23, 2007 As Miles says, the head is the same, but the engine has a different bore & stroke. Also it is cast iron vs aluminium. The S16 has a baffled sump with a trapdoor and a different oilpump. Also it has a build in windage tray. So yes, it does suffer from oil starvation, but much less then the Mi16.
